We ordered a plate for 3-5 people featuring pork and chicken schnitzels, not spicy. The portion was absolutely huge and incredibly delicious. Different types of breadcrumbs were used for frying, adding a nice variety to the texture. The sauces were homemade and available for an additional charge. The schnitzels were served with pickled cucumbers and peppers, while potatoes or other sides could be ordered separately. It’s worth noting that the bill includes a couvert charge. We also tried the Greek salad, which was equally impressive in size and taste, as you can see in the photo. The restaurant itself is charmingly decorated to resemble a cozy grandmother’s apartment, adding to the unique dining experience. Highly recommend it!
The portions are huge… I’ve ordered XXL Schnitzel but I could not even imagine it will be so enormous. The food itself is very tasty and nice.
Absolutely loved our dinner here. The restaurant is remarkably charming and cute. It's decorated in vintage 60s style with authentic furniture and accessories. The owner is remarkably friendly and so hospitable. The food blew us away. The portions were quite large and SO delicious. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. It was easy to get to (right off of tram line 17) and such a fun way to spend our last evening in Prague. Thank you!
I have eaten schnitzel in Vienna and few other places in Austria/Germany and i have to say this was one of the best 3 in my entire life. My fiancee got the chicken one. Absolutely crispy on the outside and juicy fluffy moist on the inside. Heaven. Paired with potato/mayo salad. Ive got the veal. Thin crispy and soo nice ! we got lucky and had the restaurant for ourselves as we went at 3pm. We’ve been served by the chef himself. Even when quite busy with he’s phone calls he still managed to accommodate us and provide nice service. Bill came at around 60-70€ with soft drink, beer and double shot espresso (strong and nice balanced) it’s for some maybe on the upper side but quality/price was on spot and for the portion size an excellent price. We needed to take a nap after. Thank you
The owner is the cook. (May he live for ever.) The range and variety is unsurpassed and unsurpassable. The guy has this particular Czech speciality sussed. The quality, the size of portions and the taste second to none. Check the photos (not for the taste ). We all had 'doggie bags'.
